Tyco Waterworks Charity Ball Raises £15,000 in Support of WaterAid!

On Friday 19th March, Tyco Waterworks hosted its first Charity Ball in support of WaterAid at the Barcelo Angel Hotel in Cardiff. The event was a huge success attended by around 140 guests and altogether raised £15,000 for WaterAid.

The evening kicked off with a champagne drinks reception sponsored by Tyco Waterworks followed by a superb three course dinner. The entertainment continued throughout the evening with guests able to have their photographs taken by Simon Regan Photography who gave his time free of charge to support the charity, or they could get Chrissy Marshall from Sensible Pencil to draw a caricature!

Live entertainment was provided by the band, The Truth, with keyboard player Wayne acting as Master of Ceremonies and Auctioneer as well. The Live Auction and Silent Auction were extremely well supported and raised thousands of pounds for WaterAid as people bid for prizes, amongst them, a private box at Ascot Races, 32” flat screen TV, Nintendo Wii, signed memorabilia from the Wales Rugby team and Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey team.

Our sincere thanks go to all the individuals and companies that supported us with donations, sponsorship, prizes and their services, and to all those who attended on the night, without whom this event would not have been possible.

Thank You!
